David Muir

DIRECTOR

David joined Sure Constructions in 1994 and has over 25 years construction experience in both local government and private industry. David’s expertise includes residential subdivisions, road rehabilitation, streetscape works, wetlands and construction.David’s previous experience in working with local council and state departments ensures the client has an experienced interface with authorities. David’s commitment to excellence and extensive construction management experience ensures that projects are delivered on time and on budget. It ensures a quality that meets or exceeds terms specified within the contract and client expectations.

Mario Monacella

GENERAL MANAGER

Mario joined Sure Constructions in 2018 and has over 25 years construction experience in both the Public and Private sector.  This includes several years in the Consulting Industry, Road’s Authority and most recently a Tier 2 Civil Construction company.  He brings a wealth of knowledge gained in delivering a broad range of civil construction projects.  Mario brings a strong leadership and governance to the business and has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Cert IV in Frontline Management.    

Ryan Muir

SITE MANAGER

Having been involved with Sure Constructions since he was 14 years old, coming into work with his Dad on the school holidays and marking pegs on countless roads, Ryan has had a passion for the industry from a very young age. He has officially been employed with Sure Constructions for 14 years, the last 8 years as Project Manager for the Baw Baw/Cardinia Region.
Ryan really enjoys the civil construction industry and the variety of projects that Sure Constructions gets to be involved with. He believes that with the experience and local knowledge our team has and the urban sprawl moving to our door step, that there are great opportunities for Sure Constructions to enjoy over the next 5-10 years.
Ryan takes great pride in the Sure Constructions projects as he lives in the local area and believes the guys who work with Sure Constructions have the same opinion.

Ryan Carpenter

SITE MANAGER

Ryan joined Sure Constructions in 2020 after having spent over 6 years in Local Government in a range of positions delivering various capital works programs. Ryan also has a Bachelor in Civil Engineering Degree and has been in the civil industry for over 10 years.

Sam Clebney

SITE MANAGER

Sam joined Sure Constructions in 2017 after having spent over 7 years in the Plumbing Industry.  Sam spent his first 3 years at Sure Constructions working on a range of projects including all aspects of sewer, water and drainage installation.  Sam was appointed to the Site Manager position in 2020 and is as also currently completing his Licensed Plumbing accreditation.

Dan Bridgborn

WORKSHOP MANAGER

Dan joined Sure Constructions in 2020 after being in the heavy automotive industry for over 12 years. During this time he has worked in various locations throughout Australia predominately in the underground mining sector as a breakdown fitter. As a Qualified Diesel Technician, Dan is responsible for the service & maintenance of our fleet adhering to all safety standards.

Shayne Blackwood

BUSINESS MANAGER

Shayne joined Sure Constructions in 2012, he brings to the business now over 18 years of commercial accounting experience throughout Australia and the UK. He is a qualified CPA holding a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of Management. Shayne is responsible for all budgeting, cash flow and accounting matters as well as office management.

Ben Carroll

ACCOUNTANT

Joining Sure Constructions in 2014, Ben works across all areas of Finance and Administration. He completed his studies at Monash University graduating with a Bachelor of Business and Commerce. Ben is an Associate member of CPA Australia and is near completion of the CPA Program.Outside of work Ben has a keen interest in cricket and the AFL.
